As everyone is aware, the Iowa tests of Basic Skills are coming up during the first week on April. Our school scores have been lower than our potential so we are working on ways to show our community, our state, and our nation a more realistic view of what our students can do. One of our strategies is to share scores with our students so they see what their profile is saying about them. The next idea is to have a weekly five question test that reviews basic math and reading skills. Thirdly, we provide interventions for those who are not proficient and do not qualify for other services.
